Mobile reminder data

Reminder titles, contexts, dates, times, recurrence settings, and notification preferences are stored in a SQLite database inside the app’s private device storage. The current implementation does not require a UniRemind account or upload reminders to a UniRemind server.

Notifications

When enabled, UniRemind gives Windows, macOS, Android, or iOS the reminder content needed to schedule a local notification. Notification visibility is governed by your device settings. Android may reschedule eligible alarms after a reboot or app update.

Private image recognition

UniRemind 2.0 can process a photo you take or an image you select to propose reminder details. Recognition and parsing run on the device. UniRemind does not upload the image or recognized text, and it does not retain the source image or raw recognized text after processing. You review and can edit or exclude every proposal before import.

App settings

Theme, language, and onboarding completion are stored in platform preferences. UniRemind has no active analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking provider. Any future diagnostic service would require an updated notice and appropriate user controls before activation.

This website

The presentation site has no analytics, advertising trackers, or signup form. It stores only a consent acknowledgement in your browser so the notice does not reappear unnecessarily. Following or contacting UniRemind opens the external Facebook service under its own privacy terms.

External resources

The website self-hosts its typography and social-preview image. The current presentation requires no third-party scripts, analytics, advertising pixels, or font providers.

Future features

SMS delivery, cloud sync, and account services remain roadmap items, not current behavior. Optional promotional-code campaigns may be announced on Facebook. Participation and code delivery use Facebook under its own privacy terms; campaign records are limited to operational references and store-generated code status. Promotional campaigns are not a benefit of purchasing another platform edition. Each future connected feature will require a separate privacy review, explicit user controls, data-retention decisions, and an updated notice before release.
